Training Tips for a Busy Life Style
1. Stick to a set schedule for training. Choose a time of the day that works for you, whether first thing in the morning, at lunch, or in the evening. One consistent time will dramatically reduce the mental exertion it takes to get out the door.
2. Running at approximately the same time each day, your body gets into a rhythm and you will have a much better grasp on how you feel each day. Our bodies love routine.
3. Make it know to family or coworkers what time of the day you've scheduled to train.
4. Train with a group. Although the solitude of running can recharge you, training with a group just one day a week can raise the bar and provide you the stimulant to push yourself to the next level. Not to mention that group running can be a ton of fun. Great running groups are available right here in Kalamazoo.
